dibig_tools is a collection of software for bioinformatics that I developed over the last few years. It is available as a module on HiPerGator, and it includes the following:

  • My Damon framework to develop bioinformatics pipelines;
  • Several pipelines developed with Damon for various analysis types (e.g. RNA-Seq, methylation analysis, ChIP-Seq);
  • Bioscripts, a collection of generally useful stand-alone scripts;
  • A few other programs such as FASTools, CSCALL, Dase;
  • User-friendly tools to submit, list, and modify jobs on HiPerGator;
  • A library of ready-to-use submission scripts for the most popular bioinformatics tools.

To access dibig_tools on HiPerGator, simply load it as a module:

$ load module dibig_tools

In upcoming weeks, I will describe most of what is available in dibig_tools in a series of posts. Please stay tuned…
